With the continuing economic and political instability in the world, we are experiencing further challenges and price increases within our Supply Chain.
Suppliers are regularly informing us of substantial increases in addition to previous increases, often with little or no notice, before taking affect.
Here at strukta we are mitigating these issues where possible by investing in increased stocks of key items and alternative suppliers. However, we are unable to absorb the rising costs entirely and we will need to further adjust our product pricing to reflect this.
We anticipate that adjustments may be needed through the coming months. This page contains more information and will be updated as more information is known.

Steelwork Price Adjustment Notification - Effective March 2022
As we watch the horrifying situation unfold in Ukraine and witness the scale of the humanitarian crisis, it is difficult to think about the economic consequences.
We are all feeling the impact in terms of rising fuel costs, as international sanctions are imposed on Russia and Belarus, and the lack of supply of materials from Ukraine has impacted our supply chain.
At strukta we feel the responsibility of open and honest communication with our customers to keep you informed of how these challenges may impact you. We are pleased to assure you we currently have good levels of all our stock products and are working hard to ensure we have alternative routes to supply materials going forward.
However, rising raw material costs and an increase in tightness of supply has led to British Steel announcing an increase of £250 per ton with immediate effect and similar trends have been predicted for the future.
All current quotes for structural steel will be subject to confirmation at time of order. Any new quotes will be priced at current rates, but we advise you to prepare for further increases in the foreseeable future. We would recommend placing orders for structural steelwork as soon as you can to take advantage of the current costs, and to avoid delays on your project.

Since the pandemic in March, we have experienced challenges with our supply chain with shortages in raw materials and longer lead times and we are sorry if this has impacted you. Unfortunately, there have also been price increases from many of our key suppliers.
Whilst we have made every effort to absorb these increases, we have been left with no option but to adjust some pricing of our product range. These changes will be as follows:

- Steel Lintels: no change
- All other ranges: +3%
