We’ve had another great few months supporting some fantastic causes and organisations as part of our struktaSMILE giving back initiative.
strukta doughnut day!
The 1st June was national doughnut day, and as a team of cake lovers – we took full advantage of this holiday. Staff and customers enjoyed sugary treats all in aid of The Air Ambulance! Thank you to everyone who supported us!
As always, we received a number of sponsorship requests from our customers and team!
Ashford Homes – Wiltshire Mind Golf event
On the 17th May Ashford Homes sponsored the Wiltshire Mind golf day and we were happy to be able to donate a Marco Pierre White sparkling afternoon tea for the auction.
Well done to all involved – a fantastic cause and no doubt a great day out for all who attended.
Charlotte’s 100-mile challenge
We were delighted to be able to support our colleague Charlotte Ryan who is braving the heat and running 100 miles for the Austin Cohen Foundation this July.

CALA’s cycle
This July, a dedicated CALA employee took on the challenge of cycling 740 miles from their southern office in Farnham to their northern office in Aberdeen all in aid of the Princes Trust.
A staggering achievement and one we were delighted to support. Congratulations!
Francis Construction play golf
In June, the team at Francis Construction (in association with Thames Valley Air Ambulance) organised a golf tournament supporting this invaluable organisation. It was our pleasure to be able to donate an auction prize and support this charity who rely entirely on charitable donations to fund their life-saving services.
Bellway Homes
The team at Bellway were busy, and we received donation requests for two separate pursuits.
The South West Division set themselves a 100km challenge at the end of June. Walking the Cotswold Way Challenge supporting Cancer Research UK.
On the 7th July another Bellway colleague got active for Cancer Research UK, this time it was a boxing match and Bellway generously offered to match any individual donation made.
Berkeley Homes go karting endurance race
In September, the Berkeley Team along with a number of their customers and suppliers will join forces for a go-karting race. All funds raised will be donated to Helen and Douglas House who support terminally ill children and provide support for their families. We were happy to support this event here at strukta and can’t wait to see how it goes.
