Strukta visit the iconic Bombay Sapphire Distillery for ‘Strukta Strategy Event’
Jul 29, 2016
Here at Strukta we love our team who strive every day to ‘go the extra mile’ and give exceptional service to our customers.
This culture was recognised during our recent ‘Strukta Strategy Event’ held at the iconic Bombay Sapphire Distillery in Laverstoke, Whitchurch.
Whilst staff enjoyed cocktails, the Leadership Team outlined Strukta’s success to date and set out the exciting strategy for the year ahead. A team-building activity followed where staff raced against the clock to construct the tallest structure capable of supporting a marshmallow – using only 20 sticks of uncooked spaghetti and one roll of sellotape!
Army Captain and Andover RFC Club Captain, Marc Wilding, then joined us and gave us his insights on leadership and teamwork from his extensive experience in HM Forces. He left staff with the thought-provoking challenge ‘So what?’ What do Strukta values really mean to you, and how do they change the way you behave? Strukta were pleased to be able to donate to Andover RFC to show our support for the local community.
We also took the opportunity to reward some of our key customers and suppliers for their loyalty to Strukta. Staff were rewarded with 5, 10, 15 & 20 year ‘Long service awards’ and congratulations to Sherwin Polius on winning ‘Employee of the Year’!
Concluding with food and drinks, a great afternoon was had by all and feedback given by staff after the event was a phenomenal 9.73 out of 10! At Strukta, investing in our team is what we do!
