strukta Goodies for Trull Pre-school, Taunton!
As a charity run school – Trull Preschool rely heavily on donations.
It was our pleasure to put together some goodie bags to support their holiday auction! We hope the bidders enjoyed the wine, flasks and strukta power banks!
Football fun for Naomi’s House!
One of our valued customers, Taylor Wimpey, are hosting a charity football match in May 2018 with branches competing for the coveted winners title! We were very happy to make a donation to this great activity – even more so as it happens to be the charity we support in our Southampton branch!
Jodie’s 26 mile walk for Naomi’s House.
Our very own Jodie Misters is raising money for Naomi’s House this June – pledging 26 miles to support this fantastic charity. With months of gruelling training ahead, Jodie’s ready to don those trainers, grab the hiking stick and prepare for the Clarendon Way Walk – heading from Salisbury Cathedral to Winchester Cathedral in just one day.
A beardy challenge!
A valued customer (and facial hair enthusiast) from LST Projects offered to shave his beard at the beginning of the year all in aid of the Hampshire Hospitals Charity and Mosame Trust!
Sacrificing vanity in the name of a good cause, well done Ian!
Make a Wish Marathon!
Another month, another sporting pursuit for one of our fantastic customers!
Dominic Webb and his wife are sporting the sweatbands as they prepare to run the London Landmarks half Marathon on Sunday 25th March in aid of Make A Wish.
Aphasia Awareness
With so many fantastic, worthwhile causes out there we sometimes find we are approached by organisations and groups that we haven’t come across before. Last month we were approached by Dorset based organisation – the Weymouth Asphasia Group. Asphasia is a communication defect that can affect stroke sufferers or those who’ve had a head injury, and the group is run by those with the condition. It was our pleasure to be able to support such a worthwhile cause, and we’re pleased to hear that our donation will go toward their marketing pursuits.
Guilt Free Goodies Sale!
On the 31st January we enjoyed some delicious healthy treats in aid of the Air Ambulance Service.
Keeping with the spirit of our recent fitness feat, (and as we all try and shed a few pounds in January) we opted for goodies with a few less calories than we’d usually choose.
We’d enjoyed cardamom cakes, banana breads and ricotta cheesecakes and overall, we were pretty impressed with the results and our team’s efforts!
A big thank you to everyone who donated – all funds raised will be split between The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, The East Anglian Air Ambulance & the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
