Hex head self drilling (tek) screws. Hexagon washer head screws, widely used in the roofing industry for self drilling through metal. ALso used for fixing brackets and ties to steel columns. These screws are designed to work without a pilot drill, however a pilot drill can be used for very hard materials. Light Section screws can drill into a max thickness of 5mm steel.
